"SOULDROP, a parish in the hundred of WILLEY, county of BEDFORD, 5 miles (N. E. by N.) from Harrold, containing 223 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, united to that of Knotting, in the archdeaconry of Bedford, and diocese of Lincoln, rated in the king's books at £10. The church, dedicated to All Saints, has been rebuilt, but the ancient steeple remains."
