  • Hunsterson was a township in Wybunbury ancient parish, Nantwich hundred (SJ 6945), which became a civil parish in 1866.
  • It includes the hamlets of Brown Moss, Four Lane End, Foxes Bank and Whittaker's Green.
  • The population was 235 in 1801, 212 in 1851, 165 in 1901, 159 in 1951, and 156 in 2001.
