The Hereford and Worcester railway runs through the parish. The living is an endowed vicarage, valued at about £400 per annum, with residence and 38 acres of glebe land; in the gift of Lady Emily Foley of Stoke Edith Park, who is the lady of the manor; the Rev. Charles Smith, M.A., is the vicar. There is an excellent school for boys and girls supported by Lady Emily Foley. The population in 1861 was 543.
