"BROOMHILL, a parish partly in the liberty of Romney Marsh, lathe of Shepway, in the county of Kent, and partly in the hundred of Goldspur, rape of Hastings, in the county of Sussex, 3 miles to the N. of Rye. It is a member of New Romney cinque port. There is no church."
