"ADSTONE, a chplry. in the par. of Canons Ashby, hund. of Greens Norton, in the co. of Northampton, 7 miles to the N.W. of Towcester. It is at a short distance from a branch of the river Tove. It has a chapel dedicated to All Saints, and a boys' free school, established in 1846. There is also a Wesleyan chapel, erected in 1849."
