"CROUGHTON, a parish in the hundred of King's Sutton, in the county of Northampton, 3½ miles S.W. of Brackley, its post town, and 2 from the Aynho station of the Great Western railway. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough, value £324, in the patronage of Viscount Ashbrook. The church, dedicated to All Saints, is an old structure in the Norman style, consisting of nave, side aisles, chancel, and low square tower. It contains a beautiful font.
