"WARMINGTON, a parish in the hundreds of Polebrook and Willibrook, county Northampton, 3¼ miles N.E. of Oundle, its post town. The village is situated near the Peterborough railway and the river Nen. Here is the Chadwell mineral spring. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Peterborough, value £107. The church is dedicated to St. Mary. The parochial charities produce about £16 per annum, of which £11 go to the school. The Wesleyans have a chapel."
