BLOXHAM HUNDRED, one of the 14 hundreds or subdivisions of the county of Oxford, situated in the north part of the county, and bounded on the N. by Warwickshire; on the E. by the hundred of Banbury and the county of Northampton, on the S. by the hundred of Wootton, and on the W. by the hundred of Dorchester and the county of Warwick. It contains the parishes of Adderbury, Alkerton, Bloxham, Broughton, Drayton, Hanwell, Horley, Hornton, Tadmarton, Wigginton, and Wroxton, with parts of the parishes of Cropredy and Swalcliffe.
