"DINNINGTON, a parish in the hundred of South Petherton, in the county of Somerset, 6 miles N.E. of Chard, and 4 N.W. of Crewkerne. It is situated near the Chard canal. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Bath and Wells, annexed to the rectory* of Seavington St. Michael. The church, dedicated to St. Nicholas, is a small stone structure.
