"FYFIELD, a parish in the hundred of Elstub, county Wilts, 3 miles S.W. of Marlborough, and 6 N. of Pewsey, its post town. The living is a vicarage annexed to that of Overton, in the diocese of Salisbury. The church is a plain ancient structure. In the neighbourhood are Druidical remains."

Fyfield was a chapelry in Overton near Marlborough. There is another small hamlet called Fyfield, in Milton Lilborne.
