RACAVAN, in the Barony of Antrim, County of Antrim, and Province of Ulster, a R united, time immemorial, to the R of Skerry. Racavan is in the Diocese of Connor, and Province of Armagh. It is 2.75 miles ENE from Ballymena. It is situated on the River Braid. The parish contains 18985 acres of land.
