"Kilmademoge", or Kilmodumoge, a parish, in the barony of Fassadining, county of Kilkenny, and province of Leinster, 5 1/4 miles (S. by W.) from Castlecomer; containing 985 inhabitants. It is a rectory and vicarage, in the diocese of Ossory, forming part of the union of Mothell. In the R. C. divisions it is part of the union or district of Muckalee. About 30 children are educated in a private school.
