DERRYPATRICK, or DIRPATRICK, a parish, in the barony of LOWER-DEECE, county of MEATH, and province of LEINSTER, 3 miles (N. E.) from Summerhill, on the road to Skryne; containing 435 inhabitants, of which number, 54 are in the hamlet; and comprising 1932 statute acres, as applotted under the tithe act.

It is a rectory, in the diocese of Meath, entirely impropriate in Mrs. Reynell; the clerical duties are discharged by the rector of Knockmark: the tithes amount to £107. In the R. C. divisions it forms part of the union or district of Kilmore.
