MONEMOINTER, or BALLYCLOGHY, a parish, in the barony of GAULTIER, county of WATERFORD, and province of MUNSTER, 4 miles (S. S. E.) from Waterford; containing 102 inhabitants. This small parish, also called Monamentra, is situated upon the western side of the harbour of Waterford.

The living is a rectory, in the diocese of Waterford, constituting, with the rectories of Kilmacomb and Kilmacleague, and parts of those of Riesk and Kilmeaden, the corps of the chancellorship of Waterford, in the patronage of the Bishop. The tithes amount to £30; and the gross annual value of the dignity, tithes and glebes inclusive, is £476. 8. 5. There are three glebes in the union, comprising 35 statute acres, with a house or store in Waterford let at a rent of £31.
