St Michael, LARAH, Roman Catholic

A large T-plan church characteristic of the period before Catholic Emancipation, characterised by entrances at the altar end due to the position relative to the road. Though extensively renovated the church retains a range of historic features including furnishings and fittings of very high quality. Like many chapel villages the church is the anchor point and focus of this area.
