will of richard pocock the elder of shaw deane in the parish of shaw, yeoman
to 10 of the poorest householders in shaw 12d apiece
to the poor people of thatcham 10s
to 3 poor widows of thatcham 12d each namely widows stower, dyer and seawerd
to 10 of the poorest householders of north heath and winterborne in the parish of chievely 12d each an one half bushel of maslin corn
to my son james pocock and his assigns the tithes for his life from my copyhold land in winterborne, also james my son to have the profits of the executors year of my copyhold and land thereunto belonging provided james discharges the heriotts due at my decease on the copyhold and lands thereunto belonging.
to my son james pocock 10 yew sheep
to my 3 daughters grace hedd, elizabeth hatt and anne wimbleton 10s each
to my grandchild john hedd one silver spoon
to 3 other of my grandchildren namely elizabeth hatt, dorothy hatt and anne hatt a sheep each

to my grandchild elen hatt £20 at the age of 20 years
to my servant richard greene £3 at the age of 21 years and 1 yewe sheep and 1 lamb

my executor to allow richard stanbrooke of cranidge yate in the parish of shaw the ploughing of 1 acre of land in shaw deane once every year during the term of 10 years next after my decease if he richard stanbrooke shall so long live
and whereas i richard pocock by my deed indented bearing date 22 oct 7chas1 between i richard pocock and anne viccarye of southwarin boro, co southants, widow relating to the rectory of winterborne; one half for the use of me richard pocock and the other half for the use of my son john pocock during his life and after his death to the use of others (as in the deed rcited) my moity i bequeath to my son john pocock his heirs and assigns forever.
to richard pocock my son such rents etc as my trustees shall decide not exceeding £50 per annum.
to richard my son my bed [etc]
my son john pocock to be sole executor and residuary legatee.
