Offerton is a hamlet and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales district, in Derbyshire. It lies on the River Derwent. The village features Offerton House, a Grade II* listed building

There is no War Memorial in Offerton. The nearby memorial at Hope may have some Offerton names on it.
- This place was an ancient hamlet in Hope parish in Derby county.
- The township (including the hamlet of Offerton) was incorporated as a modern Civil Parish in December, 1866.
- In August, 1882, the Civil Parish gained a part of Outseats Civil Parish.
- Offerton has joined with Abney, Abney Grange and Highlow to form a Joint Parish Council. Remember, they are NOT funded or staffed to help with family history searches, only civic and political issues.
