No. 1 For EXECUTORS.

Appeared personally Abraham Jarvis of Heath Field in the Parish of Slapton in the County of Devon and Archdeaconry of Totnes Yeoman the sole Executor named in the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Jarvis late of Slapton aforesaid Widow deceased who died on the Seventeenth Day of February 1852 and made Oath that he had made diligent search and due inquiry after, and in respect of the Personal Estate and effects of the said deceased, in order to ascertain the full amount and value thereof; and that to the best of his knowledge, information, and belief, the whole Goods, Chattels, and Credits, of which the said deceased died possessed, within the Archdeaconry Totnes, in the Province of Canterbury, (exclusive of what the deceased may have been possessed of, or entitled to as a Trustee for any other Person or Persons, and not beneficially, but including the Leasehold Estates for years of the deceased, whether absolute or determinable on Lives, and without deducting any thing on account of the Debts due and owing from the deceased,) are under the value of Three Hundred Pounds, to the best of this Deponents knowledge, information, and belief.

This is the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Jarvis of Heath Field in the parish of Slapton in the County of Devon Widow. First I decree that all my just debts and Funeral charges be paid by my Executor hereinafter so now I gave and bequeath unto my son John Jarvis the sum of Fifty pounds of good and lawful money of Great Brittan. I gave and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Andrews the sum of Five Pounds. I gave and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Trant the sum of One Pound.
I gave and bequeath unto my son Thomas Jarvis the sum of One Pound should he ever return to England again. I gave and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Trant the sum of One Pound should she ever return to England again. I gave and bequeath unto my daughter Jane Scoble the sum of Five Pounds should she ever return to England again. I gave and bequeath all my personal Estate and appoint all the Personal Estate over which I have any power of appointment unto my son Abraham Jarvis after paying Legacies before mentioned to John Jarvis, Ann Andrews and Mary Trant within twelve calendar months after my decease and I appoint my son Abraham Jarvis whol and sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eighth day of January in the year of our Lord One thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty Two.
