Appeared personally John Trowey of the parish of Bampton in the county of Devon gentleman one of the executors named in the last Will and Testament of Robert Pullin late of Uplowman gentleman  deceased who died on the 11th day of June 1826

God’s Will be done I Robert Pullin of Uplowman in in the county of Devon gentleman do make this my last Will and Testament as follows (that is to say) 
I give devise and bequeath until my good friend John Trowey of Bampton in the county of Devon carrier and John Sweet Sayer of Stallenge Thorne in the parish of Huntsham of the aforesaid county yeoman their heirs executors administrators and assigns forever all my right title and interest in all my lands tenements and hereditaments whatsoever situate in the parish of Uplowman or elsewhere with their and every of their respective rights members and a pertinences and all my right estate and interest therein respectively also all my life and dead stock implements of husbandry all my household goods and furniture of whatever description 
Upon trust nevertheless and to and for the uses and interests and purposes hereinafter mentioned expressed and declared of and concerning the same (that is to say)
Upon trust and to and for the sole use benefit and behoof of all my children by my wife living or begotten at my decease and who shall live to attain the age of twenty one years their heirs executors administrators and assigns for ever equally between them (if more than one) as tenants in common and not as joint tenants
And if but one child shall live to attain that age then to only such surviving child his or her heirs executors administrators and assigns forever and to and for and upon no other use trust interest or purpose whatever 
In the meantime upon trust to permit and suffer my said wife until my youngest child or children shall attain their age of twenty one years to receive and take the rents issues and profits of all my said lands tenements and hereditaments for and towards the maintenance support and education of all my children by my said wife living or begotten at my decease 
And in case my said wife shall either die or marry again before any or either of my said children shall attain their age of twenty one years then upon trust that they the said John Trowey and John Sweet Sayer and the survivor of them his heirs executors administrators and assigns shall pay and do apply and bestow the clean income and produce of all my said lands tenements and hereditaments hereinbefore given and devised in trust for my said child or children as aforesaid in for and about the benefit maintenance and education of all my said children by my wife living or begotten at my decease until they shall respectively attain their age of twenty one years in such manner and proportions as my said trustees shall think proper 
All the rest residue and remainder of my goods and chattels and all my monies and securities for money rights credits and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore by me given and disposed of I give devise and bequeath to the said John Trowey and John Sweet Sayer there heirs executors administrators and assigns upon trust for the several uses ends intents and purposes hereinafter named (that is to say) 
Upon trust that they my said trustees and the survivors and survivor of them and the executors administrators and assigns of such survivor shall and do call in and receive all such monies as shall be due to me and by and with the monies so to arise and be received as aforesaid in the first place to pay and discharge by just debts and the expenses attending my funeral 
And from and after payment thereof then upon trust that my said Trustees and the survivor of them his or her heirs executors administrators and assigns shall and do put lend and place the same out at interest to such person or persons upon real security or government security in the public funds as my said trustees shall think proper and so from time to time as they shall think proper call in and new place out the same again on such security or securities as aforesaid for the benefit of all my children living or begotten at my decease that shall live to attain their age of twenty one years 
And in case of the death of all my children or I die without issue I then give and bequeath unto Henry son of my brother Hugh Pullin the sum of three hundred pounds Also I give and bequeath unto Mary daughter of the aforesaid Hugh Pullin the sum of two hundred pounds to be paid them by my aforesaid trustees out of my personal estate when they shall respectively attain their age of twenty one years 
And also in case of the death of all my children and I die without issue I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife so long as she shall live unmarried and continue my widow all my lands tenements and hereditaments and all my household goods and furniture chattles etc. whatsoever except the aforesaid legacies 
And immediately from and after the death or marriage of my said wife I then give devise and bequeath all my lands tenements and hereditaments and all my goods chattels and personal estate wherever unto all the children of my brother Hugh Pullin to be equally divided between them either by sail or otherwise as they said John Trowey and John Sweet Sayer my aforesaid trustees shall think proper and their respective parts and portions to be paid them by my said trustees when they shall respectively attain their age of twenty one years 
Also I do hereby further will order and direct that my said Trustees or either of them or either of their heirs executors administrators or assigns shall not be answerable or accountable with or for any more monies than shall actually be received by or come to their hands respectively by virtue of this my Will nor with or for any loss or losses of the said trust estate and premises so as the same shall happen without there or either of their wilful neglect or default nor shall either of them my said trustees be answerable or accountable with or for the acts deeds or receipts of the others of them but each of them for his own acts deeds and receipts and wilful defaults only and that my said trustees or either of them shall and may retain and reimburse himself and themselves respectively all such costs charges and expenses as they or either of them shall or may sustain be at or be put unto in or about the execution of this my Will or of the trust hereby reposed in them respectively 
And I do hereby commit the custody and guardianship of all my said children to my wife during such time as she shall live and continue my widow and afterwards to them the said John Trowey and John Sweet Sayer and the survivor of them 
And I hereby do name make constitute and appoint the said John Trowey and John Sweet Sayer joint executors in trust of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament 
In witness whereof I have to each sheet of this my last Will and Testament contained in two sheets of paper set my hand and seal this twenty eighth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four             Robert Pullin
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Robert Pullin the testator as for and to his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other of us have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto
