"BISHOP'S WOOD, a chapelry in the parish of Walford, and hundred of Greytree, in the county of Hereford, 3 miles to the S. of Ross, its post town. It is seated on the banks of the river Wye. The Bishop's Wood ironworks are in the neighbourhood. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Hereford, value £36, in the patronage of J. Partridge, Esq. The church is dedicated to All Saints."
