It was founded in 1788 and closed in 1975. It was erected in 1788-9 at a cost of £8,000 and consecrated 31st July 1788. Henry Sudell contributed half of the cost. Contained 1,390 sittings of which 224 were free. It was enlarged and beautified in 1848. Services ended in 1975. Grade 2 listed in 1951.
