It was founded in 1885. It closed in 1951.
St Saviour?s was built in 1885 and destroyed by bombing in 1940. Nothing remains of it, although the nearby church primary school (on ?The Grove?) survives. It stood at the end of Grove Road (a small road leading north off The Grove) and the space is now the access road to the Ealing Broadway shopping centre. The parish was united with that of Christ Church and the latter changed its name from ?Christ Church? to ?Christ the Saviour? at that point. [Based on information supplied by Stephen Bartlett, March 2014.]
