Notes
- 1. Place was given as "CAWSTON WOODROW". Woodrow is a hamlet in Cawston.

- 3. In the transcription of the Poll Book the modern spelling of place names has been added in brackets "()" to many of the entries so that a search will find them.
- 4. Total missing on original.
- 5. "Fromanteel" is down as "Fromantle" in the J.Crouse publication of this poll.
- 6. Place given is for Mr Humphry is "Barningham" - see next Note.
- 7. There is no "Little Banningham" in Norfolk only a "Little Barningham" so this is currently assumed to be the same place?
- 8. These places came from the J.Crouse 1768 Poll book.
- 9. "John Jex" is not in Crouse Poll book.
Places with no voters
The following places :-
BURGH next Aylsham, IRMINGLAND, MANNINGTON and WOLTERTON
had no one who lived there and voted because of a freehold in the same place.
Note that many people still voted based on a freehold held elsewhere. An example of this is Stow Bardolph with no entries but with the following :-
- Francis Rising is under Hockering because of his freehold there but lives in Stow Bardolph.
- William Barton a Clerk (Clergyman) is under Wiggenhall because of his freehold there but lives in Stow Bardolph.
South Erpingham Hundred is followed in the Poll book by Holt Hundred.
