Notes

  • 1. "Caulton" is possibly Carlton near Lowestoft?
  • 2. SCRATBY had NO one who voted at this poll because of a freehold in the same place. An Entry is to be found above in Runham of a Scratby resident voting because of other freeholds. This hamlet was annexed to Great Ormesby (Ormesby St. Margaret) according to Whites directory of 1845.
  • 3. In the transcription of the Poll Book the modern spelling of place names has been added in brackets "()" to many of the entries so that a search will find them.
  • 4. "Benjamin Bell" is not in Crouse Poll book.

East Flegg Hundred is followed in the Poll book by West Flegg Hundred.
