It was founded in 1910 by the Primitive Methodists whose old chapel was across the lane. At the Methodist Union in 1932 the Wesleyans (who were literally just down the street towards the town centre) joined them. It became Fakenham Methodist Church. This closed about c.2018? and is being converted into housing.
