It was founded in 1932 in a building previously used by the Wesleyans. Damaged in 1941 (WWII) the building was rebuilt by 1955. For the period 1941-55 they returned to the "Star Barn" [see separate entry]. This building was also described as a "Salvation Army Temple". Registered for marriages on 27/Feb/1957.
