"CHURCH PULVERBATCH (or CHURTON), a parish in the Condover division of the hundred of Condover, a rectory remaining in charge, in the diocese of Hereford, the deanery of Pontesbury, and archdeaconry of Salop. 81 houses, 539 inhabitants. 8 miles southwest of Shrewsbury. Fair September 27, for horned cattle, horses, and sheep.

" CASTLE PULVERBATCH, a township in the parish of Church Pulverbatch, and in the Condover division of the hundred of Condover. 8½ miles south-west of Shrewsbury."

" COTHERCOTE, a township in the parish of Church Pulverbatch, and in the Condover division of the hundred of Condover. 9 miles south-west of Shrewsbury."

" WILDERLEY, a township in the parish of Church Pulverbatch, and in the Condover division of the hundred of Condover. 5½ miles north of Church Stretton."

" WRENTNALL (or WRENTAL), a township in the parish of Church Pulverbatch, and in the Condover division of the hundred of Condover. 7 miles south-west of Shrewsbury.
