"CULMINGTON, a parish in the hundred of MUNSLOW, county of SALOP, 5 miles (N. by W.) from Ludlow, containing 569 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £ 18. 9. 2., and in the patronage of the Rev. Mr. Johnstone. The church is dedicated to All Saints. Courts leet and baron are held occasionally."
