"TRULL, a parish in the hundred of Taunton, county Somerset, 2 miles S.W. of Taunton, its post town and railway station. The village is on the high road from Taunton to Honiton. The soil is fertile, upon a substratum of red marl. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Bath and Wells, value £98. The church is dedicated to All Saints. There is a school for both sexes, at which a Sunday-school is also held. R. Mattock, Esq., is lord of the manor."
