BLYMHILL (ST. MARY), a parish, in the union of SHIFFNALL, W. division of the hundred of CUTTLESTONE, S. division of the county of STAFFORD, 6 miles 
(W. N. W.) from Brewood; containing 632 inhabitants, and comprising by measurement 2433 acres.

The living is a rectory, valued in the king's books at £13.10.7; and in the gift of the Earl of Bradford: the tithes have been commuted for a rent-charge of £560, and there are 765 acres. Schoolrooms have been built chiefly at the expense of the rector.
