"BILLINGTON, a liberty in the parish of Bradley, and hundred of Cuttlestone, in the county of Stafford, 2 miles from Stafford. In the vicinity is Billington Bury, an ancient British encampment of a circular form, and of considerable extent, with a good prospect."
