Darlaston St George in 1859

Darlaston (ST GEORGE). The ecclesiastical district of St. George, which comprises more than one-third of the whole parish, was constituted in October, 1844, under the act of 6th and 7th Victoria, cap. 37;

The benefice is in the patronage of the Crown and the Bishop of Lichfield, alternately.
