"GREAT and LITTLE HAYWOOD, townships in the parishes of Colwich and Stowe, county Stafford, 5 miles E. of Stafford. They are situated on the river Trent and the Grand Trunk canal, and comprise the hamlets of Swanmoor and Mount Priory.
