Topographical Dictionary of England, Samuel Lewis - 1859

WOLVERHAMPTON (ST. JAMES).  Another church, dedicated to St. James, was built by subscription in 1843: the living is a perpetual curacy, in the 
patronage of certain Trustees, and endowed with the interest of £1054, three per cents.
