97. BEVERLEY ROAD. Queen's Road Wesleyan chapel. Built 1878 at cost of £9,000. Designed by Samuel Musgrave in Italianate style. Seating for 1200. Schoolrooms added in 1896. Damaged in air raid in Second World War. Chapel became a warehouse and services held in adjoining schoolroom. Closed 1967. Buildings demolished. Site now Queen's House flats.
