Geographical and Historical information from the year 1835.

"LUND, a parish in the Bainton-Beacon division of the wapentake of HARTHILL, East riding of the county of YORK, 7 miles N.N.W. from Beverley, containing 357 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry of the East riding, and diocese of York, rated in the king's books at £6. 6.05., and endowed with £200 royal bounty. J. Blanchard, sen., Esq. was patron in 1827. The church is dedicated to All Saints."
