In 1868, the parish of Drumtullagh contained the following places:

"GRANGE OF DRUMTULLAGH, a parish and a grange in the barony of Cary, in the county of Antrim, province of Ulster, Ireland, 6 miles S.W. of Ballycastle, containing the village of Mosside. The grange is ecclesiastically returned with Derrykeighan."

"MOSS-SIDE, a post-office village in the grange of Drumtullagh, in the barony of Cary, county Antrim, province of Ulster, Ireland, 6 miles S.E. of Bushmills. There is a Presbyterian meeting-house. Fairs are held on the 13th February, and 21st May, July, and November."
