In 1868, the parish of Kilraughts contained the following places:

"KILRAGHTS, a parish in the barony of Upper Dunluce, county Antrim, province of Ulster, Ireland, 4 miles E. of Ballymoney, its post town. It is 4 miles long by 2 broad. The surface is traversed by the road from Ballymoney to Broughshane. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Connor, value with Rasharkin, £323, in the patronage of the bishop. There are three Presbyterian meetinghouses, two Sunday and three day schools."

"BALLYLOUGH, a village in the barony of Lower Dunluce, in the county of Antrim, province of Ulster, Ireland, 2 miles to the S. of Bushmills."
