Larne Gospel Hall held its first meeting in the home of Mr Samuel Milligan in St. John’s Place East in 1886, with meetings moved to the Good Templar’s Hall (St. John’s Place and Pound Street) towards the end of the 19th century. In 1913 the congregation moved into the former Parochial School building (on corner of St. John’s Place and Pound Street). In 1973 the congregation moved to the current site as the old building was to be demolished as part of road improvement works.
In the early 1950s the congregation erected a new hall on the outskirts of the then newly-built Craigy Hill estate, which became a separate congregation by 1963.
