The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Ardskeagh contained the following places:

"ARDSKEAGH, a parish in the barony of Fermoy, in the county of Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 3 miles to the S.E. of Charleville. It is situated in a fertile country, with mountain pasture, on the borders of the county of Limerick. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Cork, Ross, and Cloyne. There is no church, but some remains of the old church exist."
