The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Ballydeloher contained the following places:

"BALLYDELOHER, a parish in the barony of Barrymore, in the county of Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 6 miles to the N.E. of Cork. It lies in a hilly district on the river Glanmore. Paper-making is carried on here, and there is a woollen factory. The living is a rectory, part of the union of Killaspugmullane, in the diocese of Cork, Cloyne, and Ross. The principal residence is Riverstown House, the seat of the Brownes."

"BROOKLODGE, a village in the barony of Barrymore, in the county of Cork, province of Munster, Ireland, 6 miles to the N.E. of Cork."
