In 1868, the parish of Killimorbologue contained the following places:

"KILLIMORBOLOGUE, a parish and post-office village in the barony of Longford, county Galway, province of Connaught, Ireland, 7 miles N.N.W. of Portumna. The parish is 4 miles long by 3½ broad, and contains the village of Killimor. The surface consists of a medium quality soil, and is drained by the rivulet Arduttagh. The interior is traversed by the road from Banagher to Loughrea. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Clonfert, value with Dononaughta, £300, in the patronage of the bishop. The Roman Catholic chapel is united to that of Tyneraseragh. There are three day schools. Hearne Brooke is the principal residence. There is a police station in the village. Fairs are held on 1st January, 17th March, 29th June, 29th September, and 23rd November.
