"BALLYBRACKAN, a parish in the barony of West Offaly, in the county of Kildare, province of Leinster, Ireland, 6 miles to the S.W. of Kildare. It is situated on the east bank of the river Barrow. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Dublin, Glendalagh, and Kildare, of the value of £131, in the patronage of the Marquis of Drogheda."
