The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Dunmurry contained the following places:

"DUNMURRY, a parish in the barony of East Offaly, in the county of Kildare, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles N. of Kildare, its post town, on the road from thence to Rathangan. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Kildare, value with Thomastown, £167, in the patronage of the Duke of Leinster. Dunmurry House is the neighbouring seat."
