In 1868, the parish of Old Connell contained the following places:

"OLD CONNELL, a parish in the barony of Connell, in the county of Kildare, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles N. of New Bridge, its post town and railway station. The population is thinly scattered. The living is a rectory annexed to Morristown Biller. The principal seats are Old Connell House and Morristown Latten.
