The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Tipper contained the following places:

"TIPPER, a parish in the barony of North Naas, county Kildare, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles S.E. of Naas, its post town. It is crossed by the road from Naas to Blessington. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Dublin, value with Rathmore, £317, in the patronage of the bishop. There are a public and two private schools."
