The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Termoneeny contained the following places:"TERMONEENY, a parish in the barony of Loughinsholin, county Londonderry, province of Ulster, Ireland. Innisrush is its post town. The surface, which is boggy, consists of a moderately good soil. The parish is traversed on its northern limits by the river Moyola. The inhabitants are principally employed in the weaving and bleaching of linen. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Derry, value £323, in the patronage of the bishop. The church was built in 1801, partly by means of a gift from the late Board of First Fruits. In the Roman Catholic arrangement the parish is united to that of Maghera. There are two public and one private school. The principal residences are Clover Hill and Brough."
