The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Carrigparson contained the following places:

"CARRIGPARSON, (or Willestown), a parish in the barony of Clanwilliam, in the county of Limerick, province of Munster, Ireland, 5 miles to the S.E. of Limerick. The Waterford and Limerick railway passes near it. The soil is fertile, and there is a tract of bog. Limestone and basalt are found. The living is a rectory united with the vicarage of Caherconlish, in the diocese of Cashel, Emly, Waterford, and Lismore. There is no church.
