The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Kilcolman contained the following places:

"KILCOLMAN, a parish in the barony of Shanid, county Limerick, province of Munster, Ireland. It is 3 miles long and near 22 broad. The soil is for the most part poor. The living is a suspended rectory in the diocese of Limerick, in the patronage of the bishop. Here is a Roman Catholic chapel united to that of Clounagh, also a day school.
