The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Castletown contained the following places:

"CASTLETOWN, (or Castletown-kilpatrick), a parish in the barony of Morgallion, in the county of Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 3 miles to the S.E. of Nobber. The district is fertile and cultivated. The living is a rectory united with that of Drakestown, in the diocese of Meath. Rathhood is one of the chief residences.
